As the legend has it when Confucius climbed Tai Shan and looked around he said „World is small.“ Few thousand years at the same place Mao uttered „East is red.“ Though most people are happy enough to actually climb all the way up.

Tai Shan is the holiest of Taoist mountains. Half way between Beijing and Shaghai. Near Qufu where Confucius was born.
