Pondicheery, capital of former French colony. People say it is France in India. Clean quiet street, whitewashed buildings, somewhat colonial architecture and seafront promenade that is closed to traffic in the evenings (unprecedented in India). However, France it isn't. But they make real croissants! And ham!. And icecream!

While driving around I ended up on the runway of Pondicherry airport. Ocean of flat tarmac. No landing planes in sight. And so now I now that no matter what how agressively red and frowning your motorbike is, if it is only 125cc you won't take off.
