Thanon Khao San feels louder and narrower every time I arrive. As if getting clogged with plaque. Getting claustrophobic. More stalls, more touts. More tourists. To walk from one end to the other takes longer and longer. Circulation slows down. Heart attack is coming.

Hong Kong Did Not Remind Bangkok At All

The amount of concrete is rougly the same in both cities, In all other ways Hong Kong is totally unlike Bangkok. Bangkok is lively, Hong Kong is busy. Bangkok is hip and pop and cool, Hong Kong seems to be just rich and stylish. More
