Maps show it clearly. Tibet is mountain plateu. Something flat high in the mountains. Go there and it looks different. It is high in the mountains. But Tibet is far from flat. Mountains with snowy peaks. Passes five thousand meters high. Roads cut in canyon side – but winding through wide valleys, along the rivers, tak heards, furry sheeps and goats. More
