I was standing at the ground floor of Block 4. Around me nothing but socks and stockings. More than a thousand stores. More than a thousand manufacturers. In China, this applies to everyting. Name a product and it will be manufactured by a few dozen companies. Or rather by few thousand. And yet I do not know single Chinese brand. Not only when it comes to socks.
