In the south of Delhi, not far from Nehru Place, on the diminutive hill behind the skyscrapers is a Baha'i [WIKI] temple. It looks like Sydney's opera. Concrete structure, white marble on the outside, surrounded by nine pools. When entering you have to remove your shoes – same as in mosques, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain or Sikh temples (why are Christian churches different in this respect?). Visitors are asked to be quiet inside, switch of their mobile phones and keep an eye on their children. Nonetheless, the peacefull ringing of ankle bracelets of women is suprisingly often interrupted with bohooing, whistling and shouting of Indians testing the accoustics. And these are very rarely children, never women. Almost all of the culprits are men, including smartly dressed fifty year old managers.
