Permission may be granted to visit Capitol Complex to Mr. Yan Plihal from Czech and is a Designer who intends to visit the same on 6. 10. 2008 to see and study the Architecture work of Le Corbusier.

Sorry, rest of this article is not available in English. Yet. But I am working on it, patience, please. In the meantime, you can have a look at some pictures below.

Permit for Capitol Complex

For visiting Capitol Complex in Chandighar you need special permit.

Legislative Assembly of Punjab and Haryana

Legislative Assembly reminds a power plant, complete with cooling tower.
Entrance to Legislative Assembly.
AC is omnipresent – interestingly, Le Corbusier obviously did not plan to use it.

Secretariat

Secretariat is the highest and biggest building in the Complex.
Entrance into Secretariat is more like a fortress.

High Court

Entry portal, the arches are 30 meters high.
