Last day in Bangkok. Last day of my trip. It is midnight and I am sitting in the waiting room of Suvarnabhumi airport. Thai exit stamp in my passport. Waiting for a plane that will fly me to Prague. I feel the same like when I was a kid and the two months summer holiday was ending. Well, this trip was a little longer. Almost three years. But then again – when I was a kid time seemed to be slower. Those two month used to be endless. I could do so much in that time. So maybe it's like three years now is same like two years back then?

Water Battle On Songkran

On the mountain road between Phayao and Chiang Khong. Irresposibly, helmet on the backseat of my motorcycle. Not on my head. That is alright. I am driving irresponsibly fast. I fly through a village. Just few wooden houses. Group of Thais is waiting at its end. They are going to throw a bucket of icy cold water at me. Like twenty times today already. The Songkran is coming. Traditional new year. Most riotus Thai festival. Celebrated by three day long waterfight all over Thailand. With enthusiasm that borders on mayhem. More
