Home > Notebook > What Happens When You Flush A Toilet In Bundi

Tags:

In Bundi they have open sewers. So you can flush a toilet and follow it all the way.

It starts with a pipe…

…protruding of the wall of a house above the canal. Sometimes few meters above it.

If you start up in the town, the sewer is just a small trickle.

Sewers follow both sides of the street and are bridged at every door

Main canal is joined by the small ones on its way

And everything flows down the hill through the town

Notice the goat wearing a t-shirt ;)

DOwn below the Muslim quarter the sewer is a mighty river

When the sewer appears behing the ramparts again…

…it turns into a stream and flows freely into the fields.

Notice the pissing Indian on the left.
